Experience
Developing approaches for classes given to adult ESL students based in several countries around the world. Instructing students in the areas of grammar, writing, listening comprehension, reading comprehension, vocabulary, idiomatic expressions, and practical English. Focusing on one-to-one or small group classes. Preparing to launch group classes with five to six students.
Managed the day-to-day operations of the English Teaching Program for Fulbright Ecuador, a program located in Quito, Ecuador with a student population ranging from 450 to 600 students. Handled student and instructor issues as they arose. Oversaw the development of course content and exam development for all levels. Observed instructors and provided them with feedback on how to maximize their strengths in giving classes. Supervised 18 instructors and three administrative assistants and provided monthly briefings to the Executive Director of Fulbright Ecuador. Edited student newsletter. Taught in-person classes and developed course content throughout the program.
