Hello, my name is David Gaines and first and foremost, I thank you for your time and consideration. I've been a firefighter for 10 years, started as a junior firefighter in Glassboro up until I became a fully certified firefighter. I stayed in Glassboro until 2017, I had a young family and could not devote the time. Shortly after I began volunteering and working part-time with the Mantua Township Fire Department where I received multiple different training opportunities and experience while working. During my time period in Mantua Township, I began my venture into New Castle County, Delaware where I've been working since 2021. While in-between all of the part-time employment I was able to put myself through the Ocean County Police Academy which led me to employment with both Woodlynne and Westville Police Departments.
Throughout my time in both Law Enforcement and Fire Service I've maintained a strong relationship with the volunteer agencies i belong to both Highland Chemical Engine Company where I currently serve as a line officer and the Upper Chichester Fire Department in Delaware County, Pennsylvania.
